Yes, you can make money with online survey if you know your way around.
However, you are not going to get really rich by filling out surveys. They pay you a small amount of money for your time, but even with the high end survey site, the payout is still small. But don’t despair! You can still make money out of it.
The other thing you need to know is that most of them will not pay you cold hard cash directly. Instead, you will receive some kind of points that you can redeem for items, gift cards and actual Money. As a rule of thumb you should never redeem items, they are always sub par. The gift cards however are truly worth the point you will invest in them. Those website often offers gift card for major store chains and major shopping websites. To get the most out of this technique, you will need to sign up to as many of those site as possible. Why?
Simple. The high end website offers there high payout survey sporadically, once or twice a month at most. You will be left wanting for more in those long wait. However, the more survey site you will subscribed to, the more opportunity you will have, the more money you will make. Something else to consider is that a lot of these websites that will also give you points for playing games, signing up for offers, answering polls, and even watching ads. In at least one (Swagbucks), you can even get points for performing your daily online searches! Tasks that requires extra time, extra investment or more effort will give you more points.
As such, you need to be carefully selecting the activities/tasks you will complete, start with the one worth the highest amount of point first.
Although it is possible to make up to 10$ an hour on these website in your free time, it’s not always the case, you just need to keep up at it and you will see your points go up! And remember that you are doing that in your free time, or when you have to wait for something else! So its not that bad!

Swagbucks is increasing in popularity because it is one of the easiest survey sites to earn points, I already got over 300$ of gift card this year alone. You can earn points for taking longer surveys, but there are also plenty of other nice and fun ways to earn extra points. The extra activities to earn points include: answering simple questions on the daily poll, performing your daily searches using their own engine, doing your online shopping, and watching videos. Everyday, you are given freebie codes to earn extra SBs. They are also fond of sweepstakes that can make you win 100000 SBs!
Also, you can participate in a type of Bingo, called Swago, 3 times per month. You can tick boxes by completing some tasks that will give you extra points and entry into a sweepstake!
Swagbucks let you redeem your points for gifts card on the most common online shop like Amazon. The payout threshold is very low, as low as 5 dollars! The payout threshold is very low, but if you can wait, you can have a higher value card for less point! Another good feature is that the threshold to redeem your rewards is one of the lowest, you can get those gift card coming and coming. But like most paid survey website, it will not make you rich, and they are adamant about it. But you will be able to make that extra money from anywhere, in your free time with Survey Junkie.

MyPoints
MyPoints is a new comer in the survey website world. It’s actually owned by Prodege LLC, the same owner as Swagbucks. As such, it’s a somewhat different version but the earning methods are similar and the redeeming option are similar, gift cards, Paypal transfer, sweepstakes and more.
You do have multiple points earning options other then survey, which makes it attractive even when you don’t have surveys available such as video and polls, online shopping and even play some games!
What is great about MyPoints is that you also have some mobile options. As such, you can still earn points when on the move.

Opinion Outpost
This website is one of the few that actually let you be paid in cash. For that, you will need to have a PayPal account, if you don’t just create one here, it’s free. The other payment option include Amazon Gift cards, which are very popular. The other great thing is that you can take part to the quarterly cash prize to win some extra needed cash!
What is really nice about this site is that it sends you survey that you, technically, are eligible to, so you don’t have to enter all the basic eligibility information every time! This will save you a huge amount of time! Also, you can be asked to test new consumer products and give your opinions on commercial to get a nice amount of points!

Pinecone Research is one of the best survey site because it’s one of the few that actually pays cash for the completion of surveys, it also offers different type of merchandise, but you are better with the Cash. Also, it pays handsomely, between 3 and 5$ per survey you qualify for and complete. There aren’t that many payout options because they only give money, it’s either Paypal, cheques or Visa Cards.
An other nice payout feature is that you don’t have a minimum payout option like some other survey site have. As such, you can cash out at pretty much anytime. One of the only drawback from Pinecone Research is that it’s a select club, you are not automatically selected to be part of the club, However, it’s very well worth it.
